Welcome my fellow members, esteemed colleagues and stakeholders of the Philippine Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society!
I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the president of this prestigious for the year 2026 to 2028. As we move forward to my term, we look to achieve our mission of advancing our advocacy in education and research in the management of dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis related disorders which continues to be the topmost cause of morbidity and mortality among our fellow Filipinos.
As such this website will continue to serve as our window of engagement for our upcoming activities, events and sharing of valuable resources for our members as we establish the certification of lipidologist in our country.
We would like to invite you to be part of this group of experts as we seek active collaborations with other organizations for the advancement of care for dyslipidemia and related metabolic disorders which are precursors to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

The 18th Asian Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Diseases (APSAVD) Congress, held in Manila from April 8–10, 2026, brought together leading experts, groundbreaking research, and vibrant scientific exchange. Celebrating APSAVD’s 30th anniversary alongside the 31st PLAS–PSH Annual Convention, the event truly lived up to its promise of innovation and excellence.
